The atmosphere, the food and the service was amazing. Great addition to the downtown area!
I am trying to think of something to compare this to but cannot. We were a party of 6 and decided to share everything. Every dish was stunning. The chef accomplishes taking comfort food, and the Maine traditional foods to a whole new level. My husband, a meat and potato guy, loved every dish. Me, a city girl, loved every dish. He and I are usually far apart on our food choices, but here we are in agreement.nnIf he had to choose he would choose the crab and chorizo mac and cheese. If I had to choose I could not. It would depend on my mood, braised ribs, delectable, scallops, so fresh and flavorful, treated perfectly the taste jumped out at you, the fried chicken had us swooning and the cod,that sauce, wow.nnThe lemon ricotta cheese cake and the panna cotta, oh my god the panna cotta...both the best, cleanest, brightest flavors. I am usually disappointed in panna cotta, this is the best I have had. We cannot wait to have brunch here. It is our new favorite restaurant and will be our go to for dining out.
