A quirky little pizza place that serves up reasonably-priced slices and decent salads, served up quickly. Nothing on the menu is particularly inspiring but when put their pizza up against every other place in town, Wander wins hands down.
Found this spot a few weeks ago when some friends were in town and had a craving for a delicious pizza. Thank goodness Wander popped up! I haven’t had a slice of anyone else’s pizza since.nnThe staff are friendly and welcoming, with the appropriate level of check-ins (while dining in, of course).nnTonight, I ordered the Spicy Hawaiian as a call ahead to go, and it was ready in about 10 minutes. Since I live about 2 miles away, it was still hot when I got home.nnI did add some hot sauce, but for some people, the jalapeños might be just right.nn(Yes, those are pineapples. Right where they belong: on this pizza.)nnDefinitely check them out!
We picked up take out and ate in our car. I wish wehad bebe able to experience the whole place beer and all. It was amazing! Probably the best artisan pizza I have ever had!! Definitely on the list every time we go through Augusta now. My husband and 10 year old son felt the same way. The crust was fabulous! And the price was appropriate too.
