Beautiful little island. Excellent spot to sit a read. Mr Benedict read and swam around this island many years ago. Now, generations later, Mr Benedicts family enjoys the island every year during the summer.
Favorite family swim destination to the “Grandfather Rock.” Wonderful bird watching: loons, American bald eagles, great blue heron and more! Sacred ground.
Lovely, small island with just trees near the public beach end of Highland Lake. Well known as a favorite swim stop by the Taylortown residents. Also great fishing around there...watch out for rocks!
Fly by of Bob Benedict Memorial Island. Later that day I swam to the Island.
