Frankfort Circus Center

The Frankfort Circus Center is a unique location with all sorts of offerings that I haven’t been able to find elsewhere. It’s also one of the only aerial locations that I’ve been able to find out in the Chicago suburbs. I’ve really enjoyed the aerial and active flexibility classes with Kristi.

Went to the Grand opening and was impressed by how spacious it was, how attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable the staff were, and the bright, colorful atmosphere. There are a great variety of courses/workshops available, ranging from ground acts to Aerials. Located just a minute or two from Downtown Frankfort, this is the place to be for everything circus related!

Amazing space! Wide array of circus props and equipment! Expertly-taught classes and fine management. Highly recommend, even if just for open floor time! Bring the whole family!

Something to consider before enrolling your children at Frankfort Circus Center...nufeffnMy 10 year old daughter has been enrolled in Aerial classes since September and last week the owner informed me of a newly enforced policy (mid-session) which states that parents are no longer welcome to stay inside the facility at all, EVER, except for the first class of the session and final 15 mins of each class after that. There is no lobby/waiting room...you must walk outside and leave. Keep in mind that these kids are climbing up silks 20’ in the air and flipping/hanging upside down doing tricks with only mats underneath them. She told me I wasn’t allowed to stay and I was asked to leave. I have sat and watched almost every single week for 13 weeks and this is the first time I’m being told about this. In fact, 2 classes earlier I stayed and the instructor told me how happy she was I was there bc she was nervous being alone at night with the girls (the owner was sick). So it’s OK for me to stay when it’s convenient for them???nnShe said parents, not just myself, have taken too many pictures, talked to their children and been disruptive. I fully admit to getting up and taking pictures but not once in 13 weeks did she ask me to stop.nnThey are located in a large warehouse style building, full glass door to see inside, it’s dark at night, and you’re telling me I can’t pop in and watch my child from time to time? What’s to stop any individual with bad intentions from going in there? All they will see is 1 car parked outside, a large room with young girls and 1 or 2 adults....that makes me extremely uncomfortable.nnI didn’t leave when she told me to, she refused to give me a chair and I sat on the cold floor for 1.5 hrs. When the class ended she told me we were not welcome back because I did not follow their NEWLY enforced policy. Another mom called the next day to express her concerns and the owner told her she’s ok losing customers because of this and that the policy will be enforced here on out. She was unwilling to listen which made us all very uncomfortable. As a result, we decided to pull our children from the program.
