This place was wonderful took the grandkids fishing for the first time they were so excited when they caught fish . We all enjoyed the beach .so much to do . Will definitely make this a yearly trip . Thank you Mendota campground

Very disappointed in the management. We have been to this campground several times for Halloween and it is great. Unfortunately my entire family tested positive for Covid-19 and had to cancel. Unfortunately we do not get our 25.00 deposit for the site and our 25.00 for the golf cart. With the circumstances being what they are, you would think that a family owned campground would make an exception to their refund policy. This was out of our control and now we are out 50.00. Even if they transfered it to next year I would have been fine, but I was told no. Not very accommodating.

This is a very well maintained, very quiet campground and RV park with beautiful grounds, spacious lots and plenty to do for the kids. Had a noisy neighbor first night (not fault of campground) but they vanished by 6am in morning which was fine....The staff is extremely friendly and everything (except the Laundry) was extremely clean and well maintained. The water in the campground is very hard and not very tasty (probably safe) and full of minerals and iron I think...thus the problem with the buildup of rust in the washers. We lost three shirts and a fitted sheet to rust stains. Re-washed by hand with Simple Green to no avail ...so until they get water treatment/filtration (at least for laundry) and new washers...go to Amboy to do laundry. Otherwise Two Thumbs UP!!!!!!

We enjoyed our stay and the kids LOVED it!! Can't wait to come back next year!

Best place ever! Clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Great for family getaways!!!!
