BEWARE! HORRIBLE! Never can redeem Mariano’s gas fuel rewards at this station. Will not return and will tell everyone in the community to not get their gas here.

I only go here for emergencies, as it’s just over the Cook County line, and cheaper Lake county taxes apply.nThe other night I stopped by and used the app GetUpside to get a discount on gas, as certain BP stations work with this app to lower the prices significantly per gallon, and they offer cash back. I asked the gentleman who always seems to be working (perhaps owns the joint) about a discrepancy with the price after I pumped. I was supposed to pay $2.52 (as opposed to $2.79) per gallon and get $.13/ gal cash back. Not a bad deal, right?! So, I asked the man working there (since the app gives no help) and he told me that he personally uses it and that I would be reimbursed later, no problemo. One problemo, that was not the case. I wasn’t reimbursed at all, and the app just blamed it on the merchant. Not that it’s necessarily this attendants fault or that grand of an issue, but it’s something worth looking out for, as you can easily get gas cheaper at nearby Speedway, Woodman’s, Costco, etc.nAnd Fun fact: all those places avoided causing the largest oil spill in history, so that’s pretty rad. ud83eudd19
