Great service and vibe at Tala roasters. The team here does know how to make special coffee drinks from the menu. They have donuts and treats to eat too. Our kids love the hot chocolate and there is a fantastic local ice cream shop in the same building right next door. They are located in an old fire house in Highwood.
Wow this bone breaker latte is incredible. They make their own lavender syrup and it was the perfect sweetness (I got half on the sweet) the lavender did not over power which happens sometimes. It's a bit of a hike for me but I need to find a way to get back here. I love that they have great social distance measures and have a few outdoor tables if you want to brave the cold.
A favorite mid-ride stop for espresso. The staff is always incredibly welcoming, as well as being bike friendly. Their COVID safety protocols are second to none and the espresso receives top marks.nnHighly recommend.

I’ve been in to Tala a few times now and it’s always been a pleasant experience. The baristas are friendly, helpful and quick. Today I tried the “Fall Forager” and wow, it had so much flavor and was just the right amount of sweet. I was transported to a campfire in the woods, complete with flannel and hiking boots. YUM! I hope they keep that on the menu all winter! I also love their chai latte too, the perfect blend of spices and not overpoweringly sweet, perfect!
