The vehicle key duplication was easy and cost effective, but I had to make 4 building key copies, and they didn't cut the same as the original and wouldn't work. In a bind, so I went back the second time and they cut the same way...wrong, so had 8 useless keys. They seemed to be good about giving a refund...we'll see. Went to a manual cutter and the keys came out fine...and faster and cheaper plus I got to talk to a human.
I was very impressed that the digital immobilizer code on my original key could be read at the kiosk, and then programmed into the new key before it was shipped. The new key arrived promptly and worked perfectly!nnThe only, minor, complaint that I have with the service is that I was not aware that the kiosk read this immobilizer code and then duplicated it on the new key. I had read the manual and found that new keys needed to be programmed into the vehicles computer through the dealership. I assumed the key would arrive cut with a brand new immobilizer code, and I would have to take the delivered code to the dealership to have it programmed. When the key worked right out of the envelope, I was very impressed! Would definitely recommend these kiosks to others.
Love the application of technology to the mundane task of having a key made. I made three titanium house keys which all worked perfectly!
Made a key for my harley sportster 883. The guy stayed a bit past closing and really saved my buns. Would definitely recommend.
