We needed to change our locks due to some problems and I found many locksmiths and since we live in Granada Hills I found the closest. Mike immediately gave me a call and made an appointment for the next day. Very professional and courteous. I had one lock re-keyed and he suggested the bolt lock be replaced. I would use American Security Co again and refer them to anyone looking for a locksmith.
I locked myself out of my apartment & had to go to work. I requested a service and they apparently had no one availabe in my location. I live in Elgin. You're better off calling someone else if you are in trouble.
Very disappointing, got locked out if my car after work and called them up for assistance. They state 24 hours and were near by in Elgin. A minute after I spoke with the receptionist, she called back saying they couldn't help and that their technicians were sent home because it was slow. Really? 24 hours means emergency service!! Horrible, absolutely going to black list this company.
I lost ,y house keys and needed new ones made. Called American locksmith and the customer service rep was really nice and professional. The guy came to my rescue i highly recommend them
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! We were told that it was $20 to come out and labor fees started at $45 depending on what the technician had to do. When the technician got there, he opened the car within 2 minutes. When it was done, we were charged $169. When we called later and asked, the company said it was up to the technician on what the final charge was to the customer. Therefore they were unable to give a breakdown of reason for the charges. There was nothing special done to unlock the car, the only things that were used to open it were the air jack, which can be bought at Walmart for $25, and a plastic rod. We were told that we should have inquired with the technician at the time for why the charges were so much.
