Awesome place to workout. This is the first fitness center that I’ve ever joined. When the pandemic hit, I couldn’t pay my monthly bill but I wanted to remain a part of Planet Fitness so I called the center and I was able to freeze my account until January of 2021. The representative I spoke with was very friendly and understanding and he helped me through this process. I wish I could remember his name. He was very thorough and explained everything to me in detail. I was able to keep my membership and I started working out again in January. Thank you so much Planet Fitness. You’ve made my first experience with a fitness center a memorable one. Thank you to the gentleman who helped me out months ago. ud83dude0a

I signed up for the tanning initially because SI Tan is very expensive. For $23 a month you have access to the gym, tanning, massages and red light therapy. What more can you ask for? The only thing missing is a swimming pool. The staff are excellent!!

If you’re deciding between here and Golds Gym in Carbondale, I suggest choosing Planet Fitness. You can cancel your membership easily at Planet Fitness, and it’s so much more affordable. The Golds Gym here may make it difficult to cancel your membership even after your year is up, and they may continue charging you afterwards claiming they had a “mistake” on their end. Golds may gaslight you to make you feel like it was your fault, and you may have to contest it with your bank to stop being charged. Not worth the wasted energy.nnNever let a business, or person, bully or intimidate you. Use your own judgment to make decisions on who you give your business to. Speaking from my own experience.

The staff are always friendly, inviting as soon as you walk in the door and helpful. very clean gym/restrooms/locker rooms. I love the Hyro massage beds after my workout!
