Smart Tech Guy

I too worked for Travis, only under a different business name. Smarter Home Technologies. He has not only paid me partial payments for weeks totalling close to a grand each week, but refuses to pay me for services rendered as well as back payments still owed. He has docked me taxes and lunch breaks twice on one check, which I believe is why he has only paid me partially on several occasions. Although knowledgeable in almost every area of the services he provides, hes never punctual, always harps the customers for extra money for materials they dont need, or materials that should have already been purchased with the required deposit he gets upfront. Working for him was a nightmare to say the least. Hes owned several companies at the age of 28 and has done this with every one he has ever built. His lack of concern for his employees is appalling to say the least. I could go on and on about how unfairly I have been treated after working 60 to 65 hours a week for him or the many days that drug into 13 to 14 hour days or how he was never organized, upfront, honest, or professional in any way shape or form, however that would do no good. In the end Travis Carter is nothing more than a fraud and a con man. I wouldnt recommend him to anyone, I feel bad for those who think his work is anything but sub par, and for those he dooped into paying outrageous amounts of money for jobs that I know were way over priced from the get go to jobs he underbid just to bill the customers at the end because he blew all the expenses on things that werent even for the job. If there are still people out there trying to locate Mr. Carter for reasons such as small claims purposes for unfinished work or for non payment, I urge you to reach out to me. Not only was I an employee but I'm also married to his cousin, if he'd do it to me he will do it to anyone and won't stop until hes finally held accountable for his actions.

This guy is a fraud and does not know how to run a business he will not pay you like he is suppose to and he is changing one number on everyone of his employee’s social security number.. he is a terrible person and can never stick to his word.and he is very rude to al of his customers.. so plz everyone tell anyone and everyone you know to avoid this person and don’t do any work for him or with him...thank you have a nice day...

This guy is bad news. Doesn't pay his workers, falsified tax documents, returns merchandise that isn't his. Consumers beware!!!

Travis Carter (the owner) owes me a little over $1,500 and has not paid me. I'm not the only person that has worked for him and been screwed over.

I've heard nothing but bad things about him screwing over his employees not paying them not turning in their w2 information correctly
