Great camping spot. Only has ten sites but all of them were nice and flat with lots of tall pine trees for shade. Immediate access to some trails right off our site. This place is fairly secluded and super quiet. Just a short distance from Indian point and the observation trail.
Good place. No complaints. It was pretty clean. The views we had were excellent.
Only ten campsites and their all first come first serve. $10 /day to camp. Campsite has vault toilets which were clean. Overall nice place to lay down and rest after a day of hiking
Had a fantastic time camping here. If you can plan on getting to the campground before 11:00 am you have a better chance of scooping up on of the 10 car camp sites. If you aren't lucky enough to snag a car camp site there are loads of back country camping opportunities. Almost every trail had at least a dozen back country campsites people had cleared.
Cold and quiet. But good warm food! And lots of it.nHi today 61, low tonite 30.
