Grand Chain Lodge & Campground

Lodge was closed but had a fun time fishing off the bank below the lodge. Grandson caught 2 large carp and released them. Caught a few catfish and drum. All released back into the river. This is a good place to fish.

Beautiful view of the river. Nice quiet place to stay overnight in a cabin and watch the boats go by.

Supposed to have reservations for 5-28th & 29th. None was noted yet there was rooms available. Paid $177.00 for 2 nights, first room TV did not have no channels that was clear. 2nd room we had about 4 channels to choose from. No Wifi or phones in room. After we unloaded our luggage we left, when we got back it was pitch black no lights on at all on the side of building we had to enter through and none of the lights on in hallway either!!!nNO Hot Water to Take SHOWER, Mold Ring in Toilet Bowl and Urine Splatter Under Toilet Seat and around 50 Dead Bugs in Bathroom. Disgusting!!!nMet Mr Campbell in parking lot while packing our car and showed him our room he refunded my husband $100 since we had decided to not stay another night. I would have been ashamed to charged anything for that room!!!! Plus Smelled Moldy Too!!!
