Shawnee Forest Campground

New full hookup Campground just off I-24. The sites are big and level. Vienna has a very nice and long bike trail. Created from an old unused railroad bed. Gentle uphill grade, but the trip back is all downhill. This area is one of the oldest midwest settlements in America so there's lots to do and see. I recommend this Campground and it was my first night here at Shawnee Forest Campground.

Im going to give this place 5 stars. Me an the wife just stayed for week. It is in a very good location. You can get to all the great attractions that the Shawnee Nation forest has to offer. The campground was very clean and well maintained. The facilities where just clean and well maintained as well. The only downside is the noise from the highway. Which also make it very easy to locate. I highly recommend this campground to anyone looking to stay in the area. It is a great campground that is pet and kid friendly. Had a great time thank you!

It was our first trip in our new 30 foot imagine. The spots were really easy to get into. Roads and camping spots extremely well maintained. Bathrooms were large and very clean. Every spot has a very nice picnic table and firepit. Not a ton of shade if it is needed in the summer

Not the best campground. The only nice thing is that it has full hookup and is close to some nice hiking trails. It is also very close to the highway. The grass is super long, and infested with ticks. Our dog had 5 ticks on him after a 15 min walk. If the walking trails were restored and the grass was cut it would be a really nice campground, it has great potential.

Owner Gary and employee Jennifer were fantastic. Gary was very personable and enjoyed his great passion for his campground. As a campground owner ourselves, we could see( even as it was off season) it's very well kept up, clean facilities and large spacious sites.We would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to camp.nStayed 2/27-28/ 2021nGrant & Tana GuetzkonDelhi, Iowa
