I stayed in a nice, clean, and quiet deluxe cabin (had kitchen and bathroom with shower) next to a pond. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I will definitely stay at this KOA again!
Staff is very helpful, escorted us to our site and answered all of our questions. They offered to come get our propane tanks to fill them. Make sure you get the pulled pork sandwiches. Close to the best I’ve ever had.
Its just off the highway, the location is not too bad, next to a few industrial buildings, but great if your stopping on the way through. Gives the kiddos a chance to stretch their legs on the playground do a little fishing and relax in the nice cabins. Rend lake is down the road too. Good spot to adventure around. The guys riding around on the golf carts are very friendly.
We made an impromptu decision to stop on our way home from Daytona to Iowa. We came in afterhours with very clear instructions on how to do self check-in via phone and instructions at entrance. Even though it was late we were greeted by an amazing gentleman who helped us with our registration and guided us to our very large pull- through campsite with all amenities. He was helpful and friendly. This is an older established campground with tree cover abound. A running creek & catch & release pond make for a beautiful backdrop. Cabins are available and a well maintained playground for the kiddos.I did not get the chance to browse the store or shower houses. They have propane, a restaurant, and hair salon. It does sit right off interstate as do most KOAs and when tree cover returns it will probably not be so loud but it did not hinder our experience in any way. We will definitely return in the future to spend a few more days.
Quiet. Kid-friendly. Love the little pond such a good spot to stop!
