I took a drive to this place to get some night photography in and was pleased with the accessibility of the lake at late hours. There are plenty of parking spaces available. The park areas access is easy from the main road. Facilities were available and clean. Great work by the staff. I'll make a return visit when in the area again.
Nice 12 mile lake trail loop. Gravel but and not too hilly. Can see lake from multiple angles as well as bridges, creeks, forests, fields, and grasslands. However, there are few places to rest. Would recommend.
Love this place. It's my little peace of heaven. Motorcycling through one of my faves.
Very nice. Quiet and inexpensive! The tension left pulling into the campground. We brought our new camper and truck here for their maiden voyage.
We took our new camper to Brushy Creek for its maiden voyage. We definitely will go back when the weather is better for camping. Nice big sites, quiet and clean. The $14 full hookup price is easy on the budget, too.
