Been using this storage company for several years altogether. When I ended my original contract (new home had a garage) we didnt need this for a while. Come a year or so later our business kept growing so naturally we needed more space for our equipment but also personal use overflow.nnBoth times when we have left one contract, or switched to another have been easy. Communication with management has never been an issue and they have always been gracious to give us time when transitioning between units.nnAnyone who lives in Ames knows there are plenty of storage companies, but it's difficult to find one that is as easy to communicate with as I've experienced. Being a small business owner, it makes a significant difference having to ability to actually communicate with a person and not a computer.nnThanks again.
Support small business! East Lincoln way storage is owned by such nice people. Both Kathy and her Husband would check in with us and were very fast to answer questions. The storage units are an amazing value. I used one of their indoor storage facilities for about 3 months. Their new place they just opened is climate controlled and they have many different unit sizes. This place has better prices and is more convenient than all the other ones I found, plus you will get to work with people who care about you instead of just your money. 5 stars!

Fair pricing and great service. A friendly family operation. Just make sure to cover up your exposed possessions, because dust gets all over everything. I'm not sure if it's from the gravel driveway, but it gets really dusty in there.
Kathy was great about communicating about which units were available and met us on a Sunday (the only day we were available). I would highly recommend renting from East Lincoln Way Storage.
