1st Quality Tax Service

Although our tax preparer was very friendly, we are disappointed with the service we received back in early March. Nearly five months later, we still have not received our refund. We assumed this was just because the Gov. is backed up and a lot of people are still waiting - nope, we were missing an entire form. This is especially frustrating because we brought that exact form with us and were told we didn’t need it this year. Also, our tax preparer spelled my name incorrectly on every form even though I slowly spelled it out for him multiple times.

i and my husband have went here for quite a few years now. actually before larry retired. however i really like this tax service, they have always been fair and honest with me. haven't always liked the outcome of the return but that wasn't there fault, that was ours. they are great people.

I have had my taxes done here a few times. I highly recommend it. They always get me more money back then the online tax filing software. Idk how they do it, but they are wonderful! The whole process is easy. They are very knowledgeable and provide great customer service. This is the only place I will go to file my taxes.

The person who filed my taxes was very friendly, I will say that. The receptionists are very nice, as well. I went in mid-January, before they could technically submit my taxes. She processed what she could, told me they would be filed when the window for submission opened. Part of my income return came back as normal. The other half came back $34, a mere fraction of the amount I was supposed to get back. I thought that strange and waited to see if the rest would come in. In April, I called the state thinking my return was amended for some reason. The state told me that it was submitted that way ($34) to them by the 1st quality. Essentially, human error. Instead of approximately $500 in state return, they mistakenly entered $34, and now that is what I received back. I called 1st Quality April 10th notifying them of this error. They said they would figure it out immediately. 5 days pass. Nothing. I call again. She tells me if the state doesn’t call her back, it’s first on her list after noon. Still nothing. I call again to follow up. Nothing. I paid $180 for a massave headache and for an improper job. I just called again and left a message asking for a refund for the time spent 1. Calling the state (40 mins on hold to reach somebody). 2. Calling 1st Quality to follow up over the past 9 days to no avail. 3. The fact that I filed in mid-January and it is now reaching May and I have yet to get what I paid for. I would stay away and file your taxes literally anywhere else. If they can mess up my simple tax return (no kids, salaried, not married) and not communicate regarding this mishap, what else could happen? Take your chances at 1st Quality!
