I have used Mike’s Shop for a decade now. I support local family business. Mark is a excellent mechanic. Mike is honest, does not gouge prices and stands behind his work. I would not take my vehicle to anyone else!
I have been going there for 20 plus years, knew his father as well. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Excellent work (body and mechanical )all for a fare price. Anyone would be hard pressed to find better people or service

I needed a truck towed so I gave Mike a call. I had no idea he was from Ames. I found out after. I called a lot of Des Moines towing companies and the earliest they could tow it was the next day. I called Mikes and the nice lady taking the call said Mike will be there in a few. Great communication and polite. Fantastic business!
