Reliable, quick, honest. They are upfront about everything and I have been going to them for a few years and always have excellent service. They also work with your budget and are very reasonable. They have become like family to me, and I've referred many people there who still go for services to this day.
I do not know why the previous rating was posted. It was incorrect.nI had an excellent experience working with Alden Auto. They provided prompt service. and pricing was than fair. Friendly staff/owners and a very clean facility just outside of Ames.nI was referred by another customer and will definitely return!

This review is long overdue as the people at Alden Auto deserve it. Corey, Mike and Anna have always taken good care of me and my old 2003 Honda Odyssey.nnI was first recommended Alden Auto by my parents (JoAnn Coffey has left a review as well) who were visiting and had an issue. Since then, Alden Auto has always done quality work on my car at great prices.nnBeyond the quality work though, Alden Auto goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. I had punctured a hole in my tire a few hours before I was to take a 5 hour trip back to my hometown. Upon calling Alden I was able to get the car in, have the tire patched and out quickly enough to not interfere with my plans.nnLastly, Alden is one of the most welcoming places I’ve had the pleasure of being at. Instead of having someone pick me up I’ve often stuck around while the car was being worked on just to chit chat and hang about. And of course to give Maggie (the coolest shop dog) some pets as well.nnCorey, Mike and Anna, keep doing what you do. If I still lived in the Ames or Des Moines areas I would 100% still be getting my car serviced there.
They are the best! So friendly and helpful to say the least! & miss Maggie (their furbaby) is the sweetest ud83dude0a very very strongly recommend for any of your vehicle maintenance needs! You'll definitely get honest opinions/suggestions depending on what brought you there in the first place. Good people!
