McDonald's

Food is normally fresh but service could be better. Just found out, by the drive through teller, that I could not get breakfast burritos in the morning because they don't schedule a prep person first thing in the morning. Hopefully they figure that out so full breakfast menu is available.

Three months ago I gave this place 4 stars. It was good, but not the best McDonald's I'd ever been. I am downgrading it because recently the service and quality have fallen off the cliff. Food is not served hot, order parts are missing or improperly prepared. It's not just us, but other people we see having to park their cars and go inside because the order was wrong. Two days ago they left out a large order of fries in the drive through. I called the number but no answer, went to voicemail. I left a message but no return call. Today we went and this time used a curbside pickup and while we waited, the guy next to us had to get out and go inside because his order was wrong. This is no small thing because for the 10 minutes this took to correct the one problem, the rest of his meal was getting cold. We told the server about our no fries two days ago and that no return call was recieved. She said she would bring the fries now but never did return with them. We are still out $2.99 plus tax. These problems are increasing, not getting better.

The literal slowest restaurant in Ames, not to mention one of the filthiest. The tables, door handles and floors are always covered with grease. Disgusting. Also the staff are completely and utterly incompetent, so good luck if you do indeed try to order from this establishment.

11/27/2000 1:30pm went inside ordered large french vanilla iced coffee at kiosk. took my order put wouldn't allow me to pay at kiosk, out of order. Paid at counter. 10 minute wait. The large iced coffee was literally water, ice, flavoring. Not a lick of coffee what-so-ever.
