It is a nice place to walk along the river or exercise or just sit watching the river, barges,eagles, or people out on their boats.nnThis beautiful place is breath taking at times!nnTo me it proves cities can be more inspiring of others just even to remove stress from a stressful day of city life or work.nnPlus, I work there to help maintain it and the rest of the city parks..nPlanting flowers beds, mulching, mowing, repair shelters, removing trees or cleaning up after flood debris!
Great view along the Mississippi. Always such a beautiful place went it isn't flooded.

Great long river walk. Peaceful and quiet. Great place to have group gatherings, short or long walks, fantastic view. Pretty clean. A lot of duck and goose wildlife including the occasional fish jump!
Nice bike trail, beautiful gardens done by clubs along the way..
