Illiniwek Campground

My family usually come here one to three times a year. Awesome place, office has nice stuff like firewood, ice cream, and other things. Campgrounds are cheap to rent. Nice and close to Mississippi River.

Nice wildflowers. Nice place to fish and views of the river. It's on the hiking and biking trail that goes for miles. Also the park across the highway is a nice place to hike as well.

This is a very good primitive camp ground. Sites are by the river. You can't beat the relaxing views, sunset, the sound of the waves. You can bring your bike and bike around. They have a nice trail for hiking. They have RV hook ups. Tent sites rental are first come first serve so you have to be early to get the site by the river. And oh, I almost forgot, fishing here is awesome. You get the silver bass here.....

I love the location and layout. The staff is friendly as well. My only complaint is they don't deal with obnoxious campers. I have had to put up with loud music and parties until 1am. This is not the norm and it is a good community, but it does put you off a bit.

Great camping on the Mississippi River. Camp ground is well maintained and the staff is very friendly. Would definitely recommend for you to make it a place to go
