Love this place, lots of fossils and fun fishing, will miss the dam recently removed, close to Amish shopping, fresh breads
They the DNR are in the process of removing the dam that has been there forever. With that being done there will be like white water rapids for kayaking. Public place with a closed in shelter for parties or use while out fishing or canoeing. Good times can beade to.happen.
Nice place to fish and the people I met were friendly
Until they took the dam out, it was a nature lovers place to be. Since the removal of the dam and saying they made it white water rafting I don't see much of that anywhere in Iowa. Sad they killed all kinds of ecosystems for ?????? Not sure yet if the reasoning.
