Sub City

We were very disappointed in the takeout order we received Nov. 19, 2020.nnWe ordered two veggie subs. The first had the wrong sauce on it — once my daughter dislikes a great deal. Both subs had way too much sauce on them. They were so covered in sauce that it had soaked the paper the subs were wrapped in. Each sub quickly crumbled apart.nnOn the second sub, something smelled disgusting. It must have been the bread. It smelled as if part of the bread had come in contact with rotten meat, and the stench had soaked into about half the bread (rotten meat smell on A VEGGIE SUB).nnWe ended up throwing away two-thirds of each sub.

Sandwiches are amazing, prepared quickly and with care. The toppings and meat choices are excellent.

The sin was good and so was the service. However, the one I've been to in Waterloo and the one in Cedar Falls were just a bit better. I was also disappointed they hadn't started their soups yet as those other locations had some.
