The Bugeyeguy crew has been great with helping and supplying all the parts needed for my 1960 Sprite! Originally it was my grandfather's car but sat for about 20 years and needed a good refreshing. After going through the car with parts supplied from Bugeyeguy, it is now back on the road and running as well as it ever has!
As the business name suggests, Bugeyeguy.com specializes in buying and selling Austin Healy ('Bugeye') Sprites.nnA quick check of their website though shows that in addition to restoration and sales, they’re also happy to service cars, including Healy's, MGs, Triumphs, Lotus etc.nnI’ve recently bought a '74 MG Midget and although it looked in good shape, it had been sitting for a few years and restored a while back by someone who probably didn’t know the model. So, lots of issues big and small. As many MG owners will know, the Bugeye Sprite is very similar to an early Midget, so it seemed like promising company to work with. David and his team were able to diagnose and fix every problem, plus had many of the parts in stock. As important, they were able to turn the car round in 3 days; in time for me to enjoy the following holiday weekend. David also gave me a short list of recommended future work, so I can plan ahead for next spring.nnIn summary, highly recommended for supplying, restoring or servicing classic British cars!
