Bad place to work at. Bad staff members and terrible management. They are rude nasty and not a place I would want to work at. I am one of the top educators in connecticut. I am an amazing teacher with loads of experience. They are garbage.
My husband and I have always felt like our son is in a safe nurturing learning environment at Almost Home! The staff there are super attentive and their curriculum is amazing! Our son looks forward to going to school every morning and his knowledge and social skills have definitely improved tremendously. They also are always doing something fun with the kiddos! I highly recommend Almost Home to any parent as they will never have to worry that their child is properly taken care of.
My 15 month old has been coming here since she was 12 weeks old and it is fantastic! I love the fact that almost home has the “home feel” with the security of a bigger daycare. My child is always happy when I pick her up and is learning so many things at a rapid rate. Everyone in this daycare feels like a family, and I am so glad we found out about this place!!
As a first time mom, I was nervous about the thought of leaving my baby anywhere. Almost Home was recommended to me by family and I can say that I don't regret the decision I made to enroll my infant here! My baby has such a big smile on his face when I drop him off, and he's still so happy when I pick him up. I would recommend this daycare to anyone.
We have had our daughter here for over 3 years. Our previous daycare wasn’t well managed, didn’t solve issues, and eventually shut down. Almost Home was a great change for us. Although, it wasn’t always perfect, the staff were quick to remedy situations early on, and the owner has always been very receptive. The staff is always warm and friendly,. I’ve dropped off and picked up my daughter at various times of the day, and everything seems to be decently planned and the staff engaged. The center has lots of activities and learning opportunities including bringing the fire department in, animal educators, karate, and soccer lessons. Also the coordinated events are great with Halloween, the winter concert and even preschool graduation to showcase what the children have learned and to have fun.
