This park is beautiful and I really like their tent sites. I ended up switching sites due to my own misunderstanding when booking online in route.nnThe staff was accommodating and made it super easy to pay the difference of $10. They were also friendly and nice making my experience wonderful. I highly recommend this campground.nnNot only this but they have facilities onsite for campers and the trails are clearly marked.
Rough roads needed a road grader but the park is large and filled with history. Very old and beautiful oaks are scattered throughout. Offroad bike trails, walking trails and so much more. We enjoyed our visit
Nice trails, well maintained, and mostly easily accessible. Markers and signs can be a bit confusing, but great views, quiet area, with some wildlife. Bonus points for the historical aspect. Definitely a nice place to hike, bike, or camp close to Mobile.
We camped there in our RV and loved it, very peaceful and quiet and sites are spaced far enough apart to feel secluded and private. Love that they have full hook ups in the RV campground.
Great place, but one of the park rangers was a little bit too serious about his job while we were there. It was a beautiful camp grounds though.
