It is 10 minute walk to the beach. gated entrance

We enjoyed our stay. It’s a really clean RV park. Bathrooms were always clean. They have a nice playground for the kids. They also have beach access and access to the bird sanctuary. Fort Gains is within walking distance. The aquarium is within walking distance also. Friendly staff and friendly environment. They have a nice and clean laundry house, live gospel band, and a fish cleaning station.

VERY close to a secluded section of beach that was a couple minutes walk from our camper. The water is generally not as clear as around Gulf Shores and Orange Beach but it was a lot more quiet and peaceful. The site was level but not paved just packed down sandy soil and ours had full hook-ups including cable albeit fuzzy cable. The internet worked intermittently probably about half the time. The staff was friendly but be aware that there is no way to check-in after they close at 6:30pm. The park is gated and you get a key card to open the gate when you check in. The bath-house was clean and well maintained and there was a laundry room. In addition to the path leading to the beach the campground connects to a really well maintained trail system through a bird sanctuary and around a lake. The ferry taking cars across the bay to Fort Morgan / Gulf Shores is right across the street from campground. A trip over to Orange Beach to eat one evening of our trip reminded me of the traffic Hades that Gulf Shores is and I was glad to get back to the slower pace on Dauphin Island.

Loved it here. Will definitely come again food is good in the area a few nice shops,beach areas are nice. And fishing. friendly people, even got to see a few Dolphins lots of bike riding or walking.just pretty.camping area was some what small. A little noisy from the ferry and helicopters but not the parks fault.didnt like that you can't pick your site so you don't know till you get there where you are or what hookups you have.
