Much busier than I thought but very nice place. Did a lite fishing and just relaxed. A good place to bring children.

Ditto landing is a neat place. Very hard to describe. It is a place for people of all ages. Fish vary from time to time like every where. Some people caught some nice white bass, and a few small Large Mouth Bass today.

Living in south Huntsville Ditto is the destination for my bike rides. It is a wonderful place to walk or bike. Beautiful views of the Tennessee river and sunsets can be stunning. It is a work in progress as the city and county are in the process of rebuilding Ditto as a much more amenable family destination. Lots of fishing along the banks of the creek.

There are a lot of fishing spots, and it's a nice place to get outside; however, it is severely overfished, and the occasional rowing group will take your fishing spot if you try to fish on the fishing dock. Also, the few times I've run into staff members, they have been rude. Fortunately, they're usually not around. This is one of those 'it's so popular that nobody goes there' cases: it looks like a great place to fish with all its fishing spots, but there are just too many people who fish here and too many other people here making noise (I'm not trying to be a prude... By all means, people should have fun. But just evaluating Ditto Landing's utility as a fishing spot, loud noise scares fish away). The few fish that are here must be scared to death -- or way too smart to grab our lures. I have fished here many times over the past six months trying a variety of baits (artificial and natural) and spots, and I've caught a tiny large mouth bass (way too small to keep) and three bluegill.nnOverall, if you're looking to fish, I'd look elsewhere. If you're looking to ride your bike or go for a run, it could be fun: I can't comment on that because I haven't tried it here.
