Corinth Campground Yellowhammer & Firefly Loops

Very nice campground. They have sites for people like me that like privacy and they have sites for those that prefer to be cozy with their neighbors. Nice heavily wooded lots. The only downside is that there aren't many lake view lots and Smith Lake is a beautiful lake. Really nice boat ramp at the day use area. They have a campers only ramp but no dock for boarding your boat ud83dude41

First, let me say, we have been coming to Corinth to use the boat ramp for a long time. We love the ramp area. Plenty of room and it is maintained very well. However, we decided to give it a go and camp last night. This was a different experience. Our family was harassed and attacked by the campground attendants the entire 18 hours that we were there. The flyer says park on concrete or gravel and no more than 2 vehicles not including recreational vehicles. Well, my daughter parked in the gravel and we made sure she didn't protrude in the street but we received a notice saying she couldn't park there. We weren't even finished reading the notice when the attendant came flying through the campground on a golf cart yelling from the road that she couldn't park there. We repeatedly told the man that she is leaving. She was literally in the car and he was still telling us over and over that now we cannot park there and no more than 2 cars. My husband explained that we are aware and she is leaving. We had our other vehicle at the lake ramp all day and were simply swapping vehicles the the man couldn't understand this information. He was irrate and again, yelling from the road. The next morning we were leaving early because it was storming. My son pulled out ahead of us and pulled to the side to wait on us and the boat so he could follow us home. Immediately, the angry man came out again yelling at him that he cannot park where he was. He wasn't parked. He pulled over at the trash dumpster where we were otw to dump trash and leave. This man and his wife were horrible hosts. We didn't feel comfortable or at ease the entire day or night. We are clean and respectable people. My husband was a scout leader and highly aware of rules of the federal and state public lands. These gatekeepers ruined our evening and we will not risk returning here again for the mistreatment we received.

Great campground for peace and quiet. Very nice sites with full hookups and good bath houses. Stayed during social distancing so camp station was closed, would have liked for that to have been operating like other campgrounds have done with their camp stores. Lots of trails but entrances are not marked well. Many trails need attention as does the boat launch area, otherwise would have easily rated 5 stars. Limited but usable cell signal, good enoufor streaming TV using WeBoost inside camper. LTE signal much of the time, 3G other times. Day use area and main boat launch is great, still need some maintenance. Will be coming back. Nearby Natural Bridge is a must see attraction with lots of moderate trails.

Beautiful, well spaced, wooded. full service campground on Smith Lake. Only missing laundromat to be 10 star.
