This place is clearly a community institution and the food is not bad. The folks there missed one of our orders, but the tenders were that. Tender and delicious and came with a hood selection of sauces.nnThe folks are friendly and they were swamped.nnThe staff takes covid precautions including masks. The patrons are a more mixed bag.nnThere's barely enough parking, but wheelchair accessibility is easy.nnIf land meat is not your thing, they've catfish and salads too.nnWorth the stop!
Great food! A really big menu full of really great food. The fish plate is excellent. I really like their hamburger steak with onion gravy.

Unfortunately a forgettable experience. I give it two stars because the staff was very friendly. The hand padded hamburger look more like an Italian meatball that was kind of narrow on one side. It was dry as a bone, and tasted like it been cooked the day before and warmed up.nnThe fries were luke warm. The first serving had no fries that were more than two and a half inches long. Most of the fries were an inch and a half or bits and pieces. The good thing is it did not make me sick so I guess I got some protein.nnI really hate giving reviews like this to small businesses, however food like that should not be served.
Hands down its one a the best places for chicken and catfish and I really enjoyed myself every time I go there
