Was completely unimpressed with the level of attention given to my wife's case. we had to suggest to the lawyer handling the case of which direction to go in, and was met with "oh I didn't think of that". Incompetence Red flag #1. After a bare minimum settlement was reached in a clear effort to close out a case they clearly did not care about, errors were found in the work of the legal team in working with our health insurance company. To quote our insurance company "Wow, you had a really bad lawyer, how did he not know this?". When we tried to ask the firm to rectify their incompetence after the check had cleared and the firm had taken its cut, we were met with dismissive hostility from Partner Joe Wrona and told that they were the richest lawyers in Park City. Just weird behavior. Would not recommend anyone use this law firm as they do not care at all about their client in the slightest, just getting paid.

Had a pretty bad experience on a personal injury case. Everything seemed ok until the end when it wasn't reported to me, the client, that my healthcare provider had placed a lien on my plan until 13 months after they sent this firm a letter in the mail. I called my provider who said they mailed the notice in May 2019, and I was told by Wrona Law in April of 2020, almost a full year later. I was told it "had been misplaced." Not very comforting to hear when it comes to legal paperwork, vital to my case. While we did reach a settlement, I agreed to a certain amount because my attorney at Wrona said the standard reduction for these liens is anywhere from 15-30% since I was not liable for the medical bills caused by someone else's negligence. I only at the last possible moment found out that my healthcare plan was employer funded, and called both United Health and the company looking to settle the lien, as well as lawyer friends for a second opinion, to find out that Wrona Law should have known that the employer funded plan in their initial findings about my case. Their mistake cost me over $1,500, which doesn't seem like much to many people but is a lot to me. I had to personally spend hours on end with the healthcare provider to get a 10% reduction in the lien and they were happy to do this in the end. They said my attorney never tried. Disappointing to know that after they get a settlement cut (33.33% not including fees), they stop working for you at the very end and most important time. I was advised to email the firm owner, Joe Wrona, to voice my concerns and this was what he said in his response: "The fact that you don’t want to pay the fee you agreed to pay Is not an unusual feature of Park City business dealing." Nice leadership...nice thing to say about a member of our local community. I sure as hell hope I don't get badly injured by someone else's negligence again and have to turn to a personal injury lawyer / ambulance chaser, but if I do, I will be going elsewhere in the future.

If I could hire any attorney for anything - it would be Joe Wrona. I watched him as a prosecutor and he put away the baddest of all people with PASSION. Questions, call me, Mr. Wrona is one of the finest attorneys that ever hit Alaska. I'm sure his practice in Utah is outstanding -- and if you ever have an issue with him or his staff, the best thing to do is tell him and not post it here... many successful people like him are way to busy to know what's on your mind.
