It's always humbling and serious to visit an old battlefield. People gave their lives on that hill. We went in the winter without the best warm weather gear so didn't stay long. We enjoyed being there.
Beautiful park with nice trails and a fantastic view of the mountains at the lookout tower. If you aren't interested in hiking, this is a nice, quick stop to stretch your legs and learn a little history.
So neat to see the History, great place to go to get fresh air and a History lesson. Requires Social distancing and Mask when around people.
This is the BEST place on earth! So many family memories are here and now we've added even more today ❤ufe0f
