Beautiful trail only 30 minutes from Lexington. The creek was dry today, so we plan to return after steady rains so we can get the full effect. one thing to note about the trail going up to the meadow - the map and brochure says you can hook up with a service road to bring you back to the parking area. But the road is blocked with a no trespassing sign. So you have to go back the way you came. But it's still a nice little jaunt up to the meadow with a pretty view of the valley down to the river.
Absolutely beautiful. Lots of different trails with great scenery. Will definitely revisit in the future.
Great trails that provide a nice workout. Novice hikers may find it slightly strenuous. Trails can be slippery if it has been raining. Beautiful scenery and well kept.
Decent actual hiking for close to Lexington. It is pretty steep if you do the actual trail. Enjoyable for sure. With that said i would still rather drive to Berea pinnacles or the red. ud83eudd18
