Worked here for over a year and im in love with this job! The pay is good and the jobs are fun and easy. They have loads of benefits...UPDATE ON REVIEW: as i said in the first post u get out what u put into this place however, without proper training, one can never put their best into a job. They have unfortunately done away with their position of trainer as of last peak and it shows. Im sad to say. Its still an easy job but, i am very disappointed at how Macy's has been operating the past couple years. I truly hope that the teams of managers/sups can remember what it was like when they were first hired on and make some good changes for the future...cuz we need it!

Your parking lot is a mess every night. Everyone wanting to force their way into traffic so they can leave the building. The best way that you could solve this problem. Is to let each department out a half an hour different instead of letting the entire building leave all at one time. and creating a half an hour of congestion in your parking lot. Like tonight one person was blocking intersection. And on the next intersection a car was forcing her way out into the main drag in between your parking lots. And basically we was all just sitting there in a big circle jerk. no one could move. All because the lady in the red SUV had to force her away and to traffic instantly causing gridlock.

I arrived at 14:30 on Thursday to pick up a load of freight. The facility was so crowded with trailers that all the trucks waiting to get in had to park on the street. After waiting for four hours I drove to a truck stop and took my 10-hour break. In the morning I went back and had to park on the street again. This was 6am Friday. I was told that another driver took my load. I got a new load from my dispatcher and waited for instructions. I was allowed to drop my empty trailer just inside the gate was instructed to park outside the gate and wait. At 12:30 I noticed that my loaded trailer had been dropped outside the gate with the paperwork was stuck in the back door. I hooked up and headed on my way.

It's a job until they go bankrupt like so many others. Nothing special except overpaying for a status that shows you can afford to be ignorant with your money.
