Go in early-mid spring. Not because of flowers or anything... but because the air tends to cool to a temperature colder than the water. These steamy-foggy conditions can give your photos a haze like effect!nnBut if you like flowers... I have spotted trillium near the river(creek?), arisaema jack's along the paths, some cool fungi.nnA number of bird types, including an osprey that was hunting. Herons.nnAnd plenty of geese (they are in both of my photos.... hard to get around 'em). Bad and good. They don't shut up and they are loud. But an angry one defending it's nest with a mother(she's very camo'd) in the background makes for a good shot!nnStauffer's marsh is a good place to come and be near nature and have little company around you.nnBe nice to this place.

Nice short nature trail though the marsh. The path we walked took about thirty minutes. Today we saw a blue heron.

Great trails throughout a marsh with streams running by trails. Short trails though but great bird viewing

A nice nature walk. It'd be nicer if you could fish in the big pond. The trails are short but well hewn and easy to walk on. Saw pretty flowers and butterflies.

Very nice. Flat, wide, easy, short trail along Back Creek.
