No place like it...really. Eerie desert beauty...Texas is just freaking cool! Load up before you go...nearest anything (and not much) is Loving NM about an hour away.

It is a huge place with five places for camping! You can build a fire and have a wonderful experience with your family. There are no boat ramps so people usually use the eastern shore line to launch from. I truly recommend this place for any family looking to make some awesome memories. The fish that you catch mostly there are white bass, carp, and hybrid bass. They jump out of the water most times.

This is a good place to fish it has all kinds of different fish. Just make sure you have a fishing license and stay off of the Dam.
