A quiet getaway park that only charges if you camp. The trails are well maintained all year long, there is one play place for children, and all fishing is catch and release. My kids love looking for turtles and small frogs as we walk near the water, they also have a fun time feeding the donkeys. During pecan season you can gather as many pecans as you please off the large grass areas, 1,000 pecan trees grow here. The staff we have interacted with here is friendly and very knowledgeable.

Nice spot to relax and hike a bit. There is a nice water area which is a historical gristmill section that is very calm place to linger. The trails are a mix of rough and paved sections that circle me main park area and also extend to the other side of 130. Most have water views and there are various types of wildlife that can be seen include bee hives.nnThis a great spot to get a hike in or have lunch with a water view.

One of the best spots in Georgetown for a quiet walk or family picnic. Definitely a great spot all around. Plenty of trees, a beautiful pond and of course a donkey pen.

Great mature oaks for shaded walks, especially with dogs in the Texas heat. Easy to find, well maintained, and water. Great to get out for fresh air, sunshine and tranquil settng.

We adore this park! Great walking trails and different terrain to see. Super spacious and very clean. I really liked the variety of spaces : water, meadow, groves, etc. Kid/dog friendly and the flat paths (some paved, some gravel) were could for elderly or ADA.nnThe sweet burros were an added perk of our visit!
