I feel like I can’t really rate a park LOW. Parks are nice. This would probably be the lowest rating I give a park. The park itself is OK. Has a little area for baseball. It’s not very big or exciting, that’s okay. Main reason I rated it a little lower is because a homeless guy threw a big rock at my small dog and I randomly- had no previous interaction with this guy. There’s a little homeless camp on the end too. I feel for the homeless but doesn’t really make this park comfortable to be at sometimes. Especially after that one threw a rock. If it hit my 10lb dog that probably would have knocked her out / given her bad injury. This guy was in the parking lot scraping the ground with a pole. The park itself is pretty flat and open.

This rating is no stars, however will not post wi/o this min star. Could be a nice park for kids, but has become a Homeless center. Saw a white SUV stop come in to a tent to do business and left the tent City.

Homeless are in parks 10 ft from children , please call 311 they come to offer them shelter (camping is not allowed in parks, current ordinance). On a friday around lunch time 5 cars prk near playground to do drug deals, pls call 911 to report, they will only come when there is action. Check the park for syringes before letting kids play. Contact you coa council member and complain.

We're sensitive to the homeless problem, but there has to be a better solution than using the neighborhood parks as encampments. The last time we brought our two year old here there was a stray pitbull wandering (seemed nice), people screaming obscenities at each other, garbage most places, and a camp around the bathrooms. We spend a lot of money in property taxes to live here, doesn't seem right to not be able to use the parks.
