There is free parking at the trail head. Trail is not clearly marked, but there is a lower trail and an upper trail. The lower trail is a bit steep but ends right under the flyover. Right now, there is water about 30 mins into the hike. Google maps shows there is Twin falls, but no trail markings to lead to those falls. The place is beautiful!!! water is cold but deep enough for a refreshing swim. Definitely worth it.

Disappointed but still loved it.nnThis place used to be sprawling with people as there used to be a sizeable river flowing at the bottom of the 20 minute trail. Here people gathered, jumped off boulder, and drank beers while getting to know other Texans. While the river has now dried up, the charm of the place still exists. Went here recently and it was so neat to see what once used to be a river. Walking through the basin was fascinating. Hopefully a heavy rain will bring back what once was.

Beautiful! It's not the easiest path. You'll need to duck under tree limbs, scoot/slide down rock, scramble up steep earth. That could be good or bad depending on your health. The cliff is lovely! The river was a dry bed of river rocks but I heard it's a great place to swim when the water is flowing.nnI used to drive a lot and had a hobby of going to parks. Austin has so many! Thus was my first time there. It seemed kind of secret with an unmarked entrance at a dead end street in a cute neighborhood. There weren't too many people, which was good because there wasn't really room to social distance from people going in the opposite direction.nnPardon me for this please. I feel the need to point out that masks are the new plastic bags in that they turn up everywhere. There was one in a tree here. Please pick up after yourself. Thanks! :)

Great trail with many picture worthy moments along the way. The hike is fairly easy but with a little over 7 Mile's of trail a good hike

We slipped over to do some climbing today. Area was litter free, dogs on leashes, and climbers very respectful. I wore my mask and had a great time in one of Austin's most beautiful hiking spots. This area is super rocky as in large boulders, so prepare your feet accordingly. Great space!ud83dudc95ud83cudf32
