Update: I haven't had this place in a long time and it has changed. Since I started going again, I've had it twice and both times the food has been subpar. Extremely old and overcooked meat in my chicken fried rice. A quarter of my egg drop soup was a big old egg that wasn't properly poured into the soup.nnMama Fu's always has mixed reviews. Personally, I really like this casual fast food asian house. They have a good selection of dishes that range from light and fresh to dark and heavy perfect for groups of people who have picky eaters! Another benefit about Mama Fu's is their protein selection! They have pork, chicken, beef, tofu, shrimp, or veggie.nnTry: calamari and Spicy General Fu Wok-seared

I wish they had a soy-free alternative for when they add soy sauce into their sweet & sour chicken, for whatever reason. I have a gluten, sesame, and soy allergy so I found I can’t eat here anymore. Used to be one of my favorites, and I was told I could eat the sweet & sour chicken (and was eating it frequently) until I just found out this last time that they add soy sauce into the sweet & sour sauce. No one bothered to check or told me up until now, and guaranteed it was free of my allergies. Really disappointed.

We where in the area shopping and smelled the food coming from there...the staff was awesome and the food is delicious...this is one happy family and we will definitely be returning again.

We visit Mama Fus every time we go to Austin, it has been one of our favorite places. We ate dinner there for my birthday on 11-13 and it was some of the worst food I have ever had. It reminded me of top ramen and veggies. Never have I been so disappointed and disgusted by a meal. The worst part is, because they use to be so good, we ordered our dinner and our lunch for the next day, wasting over $70 on food that the deer wouldnt even touch. If this is what you serve now, you should shut down and never cook again!
