We met Matt M. at the Hyatt Centric and he was excellent to talk to. Besides guiding us on their own tours/excursions, Matt was very helpful to give us insights on Park City restaurants and other things to do in the area. Truly enjoyed meeting him and his guidance.
Wasatch Adventure Guides offers many options for families and groups to experience the beauty of the mountains and Park City. I booked a mountain bike Lesson to Ride Combo and it was a great experience. Matt was knowledgeable and patient and ensured my safety. As a beginner, he chose Round Valley as our tour and it did not disappoint. It was a little challenging but not out of my league - it was a great starter trail.
What a fantastic time we had last night doing the snowshoe yurt evening adventure! We can’t think of anything that could have made our experience any more enjoyable. A small group of us met in the parking lot, then snowshoed through the snowy wooded trails to the yurt. Brain, one of the owners, led us and made sure we were all comfortable along the way. The approach to the yurt was stunning, especially in the falling snow. The yurt area was lit by twinkle lights in treees and a roaring fire surrounded by comfy chairs. We entered the yurt, which was so charming, warm, and very comfortable. It is BYO, so we enjoyed a glass of wine and ate their delicious local cheese fondue! Our family group of four then enjoyed sitting outside by the fire until dinner was served. Dinner was wonderful, especially the butternut squash and apple soup, which I’d love the recipe for! After dinner we roasted locally made marshmallows by the fire until we snowshoed back through the snow fallen woods to our car. It was a wonderful adventure!
Brian and Kate, the owners, obviously love what they are doing. They were both so warm and accommodating, and you could tell they wanted everyone to have a great experience. They were happy to take pictures of us, provided blankets as we sat in the snow, and nice conversation as well. This is a class act and such a fun way to spend a special evening!
I've skied with Steve on multiple occasions and have nothing but praise for him. He knows the mountains so well it's impossible not to have an incredible day no matter the conditions. He always makes sure we are riding the best snow the mountains have to offer. I've also been snowshoeing and mountain biking with Matt and had great experiences, you can tell this guy loves his job! If you are visiting Utah make the most of your trip by booking Wasatch Adventure Guides, worth twice as much as they charge.
