After planning our trip, and viewing pics online, we were excited to visit! After arriving we quickly realized the botanical and japanese Garden had way more to offer. It took us about 2 1/2-3 hours to walk through it all. The pathways and maps were clear, kids of all ages would love to go! We arrived around 10-11am to avoid the very long line we saw walking out...the coy fish were mesmerizing! We're planning our next trip already!
Love this place, it's absolutely beautiful. The only reason I don't rate if 5 stars is because of the cost of entry.nnI have no problem paying for a ticket, but it's mildly infuriating to me that one of the best green spaces in the city is accessible by purchase only, thus excluding people who can't necessarily afford a ticket.nnOther than that, it's wonderful.
Beautiful. I do wish there were more signposts throughout the garden as we often found ourselves wondering which paths went where and how far we were from certain parts of the garden. The highlight of my visit today (at the end of March) was the wisteria. Beautiful, lush, and fragrant, I have never seen so much wisteria in one place. It is one of my favorite flowers!
One of the best gardens out there. And a perfect place to have a wedding. I should know I had mine there and it was amazing. The staff were top notch and really bright everything together for us. They made sure we were getting everything we needed and shuttled all of us to and from our cars.nnBradleigh was great at answering our questions and taking care of everything we needed.nnMary was so friendly and helpful and making sure we got where we needed to get on time.nnI never thought we would be able to get married in such a beautiful place
It was nice and a beautiful day for a nice stroll!! There were some blooms which made it even better! I really wanted to wait until more blooms were out but it was still nice!! I think there should be more of a gift shop there... only one we went to was in the Japanese gardens and it was nice but still wanted one for like all the gardens!! Overall great day!!
