I had not visited the Japanese Gardens of the Fort Worth Botanical Garden for many years. My wife, our daughter, and I visited today to see the Japanese Festival.nThe recent heavy freeze affected many of the plants (the bamboo was frozen to the ground, but are sprouting), but the cherry blossoms were wonderful and Japanese Maples were barely affected.nThe koi ponds were briefly frozen over during the freezing weather, but the fish and turtles survived.nThere were exhibits of Bonsai plants, Japanese drummers, sword play, and other arts.nWe really enjoyed our visit.

Love the Japanese garden. Best time to visit would be autumn. Still looks great though. Visited around 10am on a Saturday and there was a good amount of people, not too full.

A beautiful experience for the whole family! It took about 3 hours to walk though....you can bring food and have a picnic! It's better to pay for tickets ahead of time to avoid the wait and long line. I will definitely be back!

Gorgeous as always with parking that needs improvement on busy days. Admission fee grants entry to the indoor conservatory, botanic garden, and Japanese garden. So pretty and perfect for pics!

First time visitor and I loved the experience. Staff was helpful and lots of activities for kids and adults. I have always admired Japanese culture and the gardens showcase it so well.
