I love coming here to walk, exercise, contemplate, reflect, and soak in the sunny ☀ufe0f Texas sun. It's not crowded, and a refreshing experience being so close to the Trinity river. Here's a few pics from a few weeks ago when the River was frozen, and several days later. A before and after the record snow ❄ufe0f and below freezing ud83eudd76 cold spell we had. It makes me appreciate the beautiful, warm sunny ud83dude0e days even more.
Peaceful trails with a great view! There's something new to discover each time you go. However, the Picnic area either has a full trash can or trash on the grounds.
Convenient trailhead for the Trinity with shower, drinking fountain for humans and pets, a bathroom, picnic tables, and a kayak launch. There is good parking and it is well lit at night.
its a park and relax place.. what's not good about that.
