It's kinda like Buckees but more down home. BBQ was very good, lots of goodies to buy and eat. Fudge was yummy. Gas was priced right. Restrooms large and very clean. Great place to take a break. Wife loved it....need I say more?

People there are really sweet. The beef jerky was dry though
Woody's bacon wrapped smoked quail breast is well worth the trip. The flavors unfold bite after bite, flavor after flavor. Today they had a lingering heat on them for a little kick. How did I fix that? With a few bites of blackberry cobbler of course! And the beans and condiments all come with the meats at no additional charge. The beans make a tasty meal all on their own. Thick and flavorful like Papaw used to make. And the people at Woody's are friendly and helpful and sometimes downright entertaining. Y'all stop in at Woody's. You won't be disappointed!
My wife and I are locals. We recently found BBQ tacos at Woody’s #2 that’s on the west side of Interstate 45. Also Smoked Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jalapeños, my wife says they are the best she’s ever had. They are delicious, and we frequently pick-up them up for dinner. Always friendly service. When you road warriors need a pit stop and a quick snack, we highly recommend them.
