I never knew of it's existence but found it to be a fun and informative experience. Staff was very knowledgeable and the trail paths full if interesting plant and bird life.nnEdit: Bald eagles nesting at this time (Dec 16) one egg in the nest and one more expected any day!!! Search for John Bunker Sands Wetland Center on YouTube and check it out!!nnThe eagles come back every year to their nest in a power line tower and the center worked woth the power company to reroute the lines as to not endanger the birds!
Gorgeous area was still nice and cool outside I had gone with my college class at that time roughly a year ago. Will definitely go again
Great place for a hike and some bird watching
