I love the serenity of this park. Huge pine trees with pine needle mulch, groomed grass, covered picnic tables. I frequently stop here to enjoy the trees and have a break in my long drive. I much appreciate the folks who care for this park. It would help them if people didn't use their trash recepticles as their personal disposal service!
It is a good place to pull over and stop after those long drives, kid get tired, dogs get board & needs a bathroom break. Kids want to stretch their legs, drivers want to refresh, with a quick break, possibly look at their map route options, see what's around... or simply nap or picnic...
I stop with my dogs. It's too bad other people leave so much trash behind. It's a nice rest stop
Beautiful trees!
Prettiest park in Houston County for taking a break or eating lunch, but you’ll still have to pee in the bushes.
