Cute place to take picture but please CARRY YOUR BUG/MOSQUITO REPELLENT! I have more bites on my leg than stars in the sky after 1 hour photo session

Heritage Park is a small park known for its restored historic buildings, beautiful landscaping, the Tradition Bank bandstand pavilion and brick paved patio.nnYou have to book tours to view inside the homes to see what life was like for Katy residents in the early 1900s. On the first weekend of every month the Katy Heritage Park is open for free public tours. (Saturday of each month from 10 am to 1 pm, and first Sunday of the month from 1 to 4 PM.)nnFew parking spots available. There is a drinking water fountain.

If you visit Katy, you have to walk thru here and learn a little bit about the history of the town.
